The Loyal Edmonton Regiment "Fears no Foe"

The Loyal Edmonton Regiment entered a team in the 1999 Edmonton Dragonboat Festival, and won the Novice Cup. After a two year interlude, the team has entered each subsequent year, improving each year. At the 2007 Festival, the team won a Silver Medal in the Borealis 'A' Division.

The Dragonboat Festival is great for team building, really good exercise (building timing, strength, cardio, and coordination), and tons of fun. Participation is voluntary, but is another aspect of the Regimental Family. Many of the team are serving members of the Regiment, but several are ex-Loyal Eddies as well.

For the 2008 season, we will be running three teams. A senior team, a junior team (ages 12 through 18), and an all womens team.
